Every piece is built from one of a small number of materials, each with its own character. Only leathers we actually use in current products are shown here.

Full-Grain Polished Cowhide

The full, unaltered top layer of the hide, including its natural grain and markings. It is the material we use most, and the one most of our pieces are built from.

Sheep Leather

A lighter, softer leather with a fine, supple hand — used selectively where flexibility matters more than structure.

Horse Leather

A dense, tightly grained leather known for its firmness. We use it sparingly, in pieces where a harder wearing surface is useful.

Crocodile-Embossed Leather

Calfskin finished with a deep crocodile emboss, recognizable by its distinct scale pattern. Used only in select limited pieces, where noted on the product page.
