Whole cowhides, cured and dried, sold as raw material by the skin. Size, shape and markings vary from hide to hide — each one is the animal it came from, not a piece cut to a spec. Available in black, brown, maroon and white.
Crafted from Raw Cowhide. The full, unaltered top layer of the hide, including its natural grain and markings. It is the material we use most, and the one most of our pieces are built from. Natural hides vary slightly in grain and tone, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
Commissioned to order from specialist workshops we have worked with for years, each chosen for the kind of piece it does best. We set the specification and the material, and every piece is inspected against it before it is dispatched.
Store flat or loosely rolled in a dry, ventilated space.
Keep out of direct sunlight, which fades and stiffens an uncured skin.
Do not seal in plastic — trapped moisture will mark the skin.
Condition before working if the hide has dried out in storage.

Within 30 days of delivery, in original, unworn condition. If a piece arrives damaged or does not match what was ordered, we replace it — that is on us, not on you.
