Skins are sourced to order from our material dealers rather than made, so they do not carry the 14-day making time. We confirm a collection and delivery date with you before taking payment.
Sheep skins, cured and sorted by size and grade. Lighter and more supple than cowhide, and correspondingly easier to work by hand.
Crafted from Raw Sheep Skin. A lighter, softer leather with a fine, supple hand — used selectively where flexibility matters more than structure. Natural hides vary slightly in grain and tone, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
Commissioned to order from specialist workshops we have worked with for years, each chosen for the kind of piece it does best. We set the specification and the material, and every piece is inspected against it before it is dispatched.
Store flat or loosely rolled in a dry, ventilated space.
Keep out of direct sunlight, which fades and stiffens an uncured skin.
Do not seal in plastic — trapped moisture will mark the skin.
Condition before working if the hide has dried out in storage.

Before You Order.
A raw skin, sold as it comes. It has not been made up into anything, and it is not a finished leather cut to a sheet size. Size, shape, thickness and markings vary from one skin to the next.
Natural, White, Brown and Black. Natural hides vary slightly in grain and tone between batches, so the finished colour can differ a little from what your screen shows.

Within 30 days of delivery, in original, unworn condition. If a piece arrives damaged or does not match what was ordered, we replace it — that is on us, not on you.
